Domjur.nl is redesigned |
Domjur.nl – the website where you can look up Dutch court rulings about domain names – has been redesigned. As well as having a modern look and feel, the site is now responsive. So it's equally easy to browse on a PC, a tablet or a mobile.

Moritz Müller wins Internet Thesis Prize |
Moritz Müller, Research Engineer at SIDN Labs, has won an Internet Thesis Prize for his paper about SIDekICk. The project involved the development of algorithms capable of automatically detecting names in the .nl zone that are being used for abusive purposes. Read more |

.nl in numbers |
At the end of the first quarter, the total number of registered .nl domain names was 5,617,753. That equates to a net increase of 13,948. Although the growth was modest by historical standards (the domain grew by about 25,000 names as recently as the first quarter of 2015), it was higher than we had expected. Read more |

IANA stewardship transition: is 30 September realistic? |
Following ICANN55 in Marrakech, the detailed proposals for the IANA stewardship transition were finally submitted to the NTIA for approval. In principle, therefore, it is still possible for stewardship of IANA to be switched on 30 September 2016. Whether that date is realistic, is another matter. Read more |
